Two Strong Impulses for the Future of Work – Triple Eight Solutions at EDA and ALSA
On 20 May, Oliver Bertschinger led a tailored full-day workshop at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (EDA) in Bern-Zollikofen. Around 40 professionals working in vocational training explored the foundations of artificial intelligence (AI) in an interactive, hands-on format.
The goal: to enhance individual productivity in everyday work – not through extra effort, but through smart use of technology. At the same time, participants gained the fundamental understanding necessary to apply AI meaningfully in their own educational contexts.
Key topics included:
- Background knowledge of AI
- Productive use of Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT in daily work
- Concrete use cases in vocational education
- Reflection on one’s ability to embrace change in the digital age
In the evening, another highlight followed: more than 100 SME representatives attended the general assembly of the ALSA pension fund. Malcolm Werchota of T8S delivered an inspiring keynote entitled “Never Type Again – How Organisations Can Accelerate with Voice, Tools and Courage.” With live demos, humour, and clear messages, he demonstrated how AI is already transforming the way we work.
The four strongest messages of the evening:
- Meetings, protocols, and emails? These can already be handled far more productively.
- Those who master prompting work faster and better – prompting is the new soft skill.
- Data privacy is not an obstacle to AI, but a matter of sound IT architecture.
- The best time to get started is now – especially for SMEs.
Conclusion:
Triple Eight Solutions not only supports long-term mandates, but also delivers targeted, high-impact interventions – whether for businesses, schools, government bodies or industry associations. It is often precisely these short formats that spark a sustainable, long-term AI journey for participants.
